 Mission Statement 

 The mission of Oakland Heights Elementary is to establish a strong foundation for lifelong learning by infusing learning styles theories, technology, individualized student instruction, character education, arts integration, and parental involvement to meet the needs of our diverse student population.

 Curriculum and. instructional practices should incorporate a variety of learning activities to accommodate the different ways that children learn.

  Students learn best when they are actively engaged and material is presented in meaningful contexts.
